News & Events

After 31 years, Wings N' Wheels is an event that runs as a well oiled machine. The difference is, it just keeps getting better with time! All proceeds from this community day go directly to supporting Angel Flight East’s mission of providing free flights for patients in need of medical treatment far from home.

Car enthusiasts of all ages have a blast, seeing the hottest rides, and those with the coolest "mods". We have some of the newest and oldest cars in the area on display!

Pilots fly in from near and far. There were traditional general aviation aircraft, as well as more unique planes. A 1942 Waco Biplane even flew up from Texas just for the event.

Activities for kids were as far as the eye could see. Bounce houses, balloon animals, arts and crafts, and more. The best part is that all of these activities were built into the ticket price for attendees!

Some familiar faces also stopped by. Swoop came up from Lincoln Financial Field, Tinkerbell and Jasmine traveled from Disney, and the Phillie Phanatic joined us from Citizen's Bank Park!

There was live entertainment for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're looking for live music, or something a little more action packed, we had you covered. Action Karate's demonstration team performed twice, as well as our local police department's K9 unit. In one of the hangars, a local robotics club gave a hands-on demonstration.

Having all this fun got us a little hungry. There was ice cream, a cookout by the boy scouts and a Wing Off Competition, featuring five local restaurants who competed to see who had the best tasting chicken wing, voted on by a panel of judges as well as attendees.

The most recent addition to this stellar event were three breweries who ensured all of our adult attendees stayed hydrated throughout the day.

There was fun to be had all day long! Be sure to mark your calendar now for September 7, 2024!
